Why are cancer rates in poor countries lower than in rich countries? The doctor tells you the answer

Which country has the lowest cancer incidence? I believe many people's answers are wrong.

Many people subconsciously think that it is European and American countries, because Europe and the United States have advantages in biological science and technology, and some people think that it is Japan, because Japan is the country with the longest life expectancy. The real answer may be unexpected. The incidence of cancer in small and poor African countries is much lower than in Europe, America, Japan, South Korea and China. Why is this?

Why are cancer rates in poor countries lower than in rich countries?

There are many factors that affect the incidence of cancer, such as personal hygiene and sanitation. Penile cancer, which was common before the founding of the People's Republic of China, has been rarely seen because of the great popularization of health knowledge after the founding of the People's Republic of China. Vaccines can also reduce the incidence of cancer, such as hepatitis B vaccine, which can reduce the incidence of hepatitis B. Directly reduce the incidence of liver cancer. But in general, there are two factors that affect a country's cancer incidence numbers: life expectancy and medical care.

The lower the life expectancy, the lower the cancer incidence. Although cancer can occur at any age, it is more likely to occur with age. According to the global cancer incidence data released by the International Association of Cancer Registries, the average age of onset of malignant tumors in China is 63.47 years old, and the average age of cancer onset in the world is 65.73 years old, 66.70 years old for men and 64.67 years old for women.

Among them, bile duct cancer is a veritable geriatric disease, with an average age of 71.55 years, followed by bladder cancer and prostate cancer. The average age of onset for cancers such as testicular, bone and thyroid cancers is relatively young, but also older than 33. Although young women and children often get leukemia and other cancers in movies, in fact, the elderly are the highest incidence of leukemia.

The average life expectancy in poor areas in Africa is relatively low, and AIDS is the number one killer of local diseases. Therefore, people die before the main age of onset of cancer, and naturally there will be no cancer. However, we also see from the global cancer incidence data that the average age of onset of various tumors in less developed countries or regions such as Africa is relatively low, and the lower the human development index in countries or regions, the lower the average age of onset of cancer. .

There is a positive correlation between the medical level and the cancer incidence rate, that is, the higher the medical level, the higher the tumor incidence. This sentence seems very unscientific, but it is true. Some people comment on seeing a doctor in this way, there is nothing wrong if you don't see a doctor, and when you see a doctor, there is a disease everywhere, and this is indeed the truth. The diagnosis of cancer requires a high level of medical care, especially lymphoma. Without CT, surgery, and pathological diagnosis, cancer cannot be diagnosed, and naturally it is not considered cancer incidence.

However, poor areas in Africa have less access to medical resources, and the probability of cancer detection is naturally low. In fact, people in Africa are open-minded by nature, have religious beliefs, and can face natural diseases that happen to them calmly, and do not necessarily need to seek medical help.

Epilogue

Studies have shown that about 1 in 5 Chinese people will develop cancer before the age of 75, and if they live longer, the probability will be even higher. It is estimated that more than 90% of families in China will have at least one cancer patient in the future. Therefore, for the health of yourself and your family, I hope everyone can prepare scientific knowledge of anti-cancer and anti-cancer in advance.

But don't panic. With the rapid development of modern medicine, the cure rate of cancer and the chances of coexisting with cancer are getting higher and higher. I believe that in the future, cancer will eventually be conquered by human beings. Let's work together!
