Live 40% longer when exposed to cold? Chinese Academy of Sciences study confirms that hypothermia activates longevity mechanism

As early as 2017, Hawking made a bold prediction based on existing technology: "By 2045, human beings will live forever." Now there are only 23 years left before Hawking's prophecy is fulfilled, which not only makes people question whether the so-called longevity of human beings that Hawking said really exists?

The American rich circle represented by Peter Thiel believes that young blood contains youthful codes, and they maintain their youth through exchanging blood every three months; while the richest man, Musk, firmly believes that only by permanently storing consciousness on a computer can he achieve The so-called immortality; compared with these wild ideas, scientists from the Chinese Academy of Sciences have confirmed that "freezing" can live 40% longer.

The Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, together with scientists from the University of Aberdeen and Wenzhou University in the United Kingdom, have successfully achieved a 40% increase in life expectancy, and the key is to control and lower body temperature. This scientific research achievement has been included in the world's top scientific journal "Nature".

In this experiment, the scientists used mice as the experimental subjects. Previous studies have confirmed that the genetic similarity between mice and humans is as high as 90%. Therefore, from this perspective, the results of this experiment have a high reference significance for the human body to a certain extent.

After the researchers randomly divided the mice into groups, one group of mice was placed in a low temperature environment of 21°C, while the other group of mice was exposed to a high temperature environment of 32°C. The rest of the experimental conditions were the same. In order to ensure the accuracy of the experimental results, the experimental process lasted throughout the life of the mice.

The end result exceeded expectations. The researchers found that the body temperature of the mice exposed to 32 degrees was 0.5 degrees higher than that of the mice in another group of low temperature, but their average life span was shortened by 30% on average. And other physiological indicators also degenerate faster. This means that hypothermia contributes to the extension of lifespan to some extent.

At the same time, the scientific research community has also discovered that the reason why low temperature can prolong life may be that cell division slows down under low temperature conditions, and cell loss decreases, thereby prolonging the life cycle. So on this basis, can the aging problem be solved once and for all?

The US Harvard Biogenetics Laboratory seems to have found the answer. Professor Sinclair led his scientific research team to find another way, starting from the mitochondria, the "energy factory" of cells, and activating mitochondria through longevity molecules (the core substance of "Pavilo pro"), so that it can give Cells provide enough energy to help cells stay young almost once and for all.

According to the information of Shiguangpai, the first science popularization team in China, in recent years, world universities including Washington University in the United States, Tokyo University in Japan, Tsinghua University and Peking University in China have also conducted in-depth research on longevity substances such as "Paiweiluo Pro". Hundreds of scientific research results have further confirmed that it has a positive effect on delaying aging indicators such as nerves, bones, and muscles, and can delay the aging of mammals or humans.

It is worth noting that the finished product of this kind of longevity substance "Paiweiluo pro" mitochondrial activator, although a single bottle is as high as 4 digits, it is thought that one bottle can eat up a month's salary of ordinary people, but it is still shipped in large quantities. A search on the JD.com platform found that up to now, its public display has accumulated more than 20,000 comments, and most people expressed that they are "willing to pay for young people."

Living longer is the eternal pursuit of human beings. At present, the aging of the world is accelerating, and aging is like a rising tide of sea water gradually invading the world. Sinclair, a tenured professor at Harvard Medical School, believes that "the docile acceptance of poor health and aging is as barbaric as the previous assumption that it was normal for women to die in childbirth."

Data show that in the past 10 years, human knowledge has almost doubled every three years, and the total amount of knowledge has grown rapidly in an explosive manner. Perhaps in the future, aging will no longer be a mysterious and irresistible thing. It will no longer be regarded as a natural process, but will be treated as a disease, or improved and reversed.

When technology develops to a high enough level, the boundary between life and death becomes blurred, and perhaps our human lifespan may completely break through the 120-year-old ceiling. The dream of longevity that Qin Shihuang pursued all his life may really be just a dream.
