Legends and stories since ancient times have made people curious about deep mountain caves. In the deep mountains of Hunan, archaeologists discovered an 800-year-old luxurious tomb. Surprisingly, it is well preserved and there is no trace of the tomb being robbed. The locals told the staff that this was because the ancient tombs were full of mystery and strange colors, so no one dared to go. What exactly is this matter about?

The luxurious ancient tomb was found in a mountain village in a small town in Hunan called Jiulong Village, where the ethnic Miao ethnic group gathers. The village got its name because of the nine caves in the back mountain, where archaeologists discovered the luxurious ancient tombs. Approaching the cave, you can experience the eerie atmosphere with a mysterious coffin inside.

These coffins are all hollowed out with hundreds of years of nanmu, weighing more than a thousand catties, and the coffins are not rotted, well preserved, and very luxurious. These coffins sit in the northwest and face southeast. They are neither buried deep in the ground nor have inscriptions on them. They are very special. Against the dark cave, they look very strange.

The reason why no one dares to rob the tomb here is because there are many local legends. Among them, there were tomb robbers with bad intentions who went there, but died tragically on the way back. Later, it became more and more evil, but it did persuade many people with bad intentions to come. Later, through textual research, it was speculated that this place is likely to be the tomb of the respected "Miao King" in the local area.

This mysterious cave also unlocks the dusty history of the local village. According to the archaeological staff, before the Miao villagers who now live here moved here, the Gelao people lived here and brought their ancestors' cave burial customs to Jiulong Village. This ancient tomb came according to their burial customs.

Later, the Gelao people merged with the migrating Miao people to form a new ethnic group, the Gelao Miao people, and finally formed the people who live here today. However, as to how the 1000-pound coffin was transported to the cave on the mountain, the answer has not yet been found.
