Many years ago, if a mountain village was mentioned, it was a symbol of poverty in the impression of many people, so many people would do everything possible to get out of the mountains in order to live. However, with the development of time, highways hovered on the top of the mountain, and the small villages in the deep mountains gradually opened to flat roads, and it was no longer so difficult to get out of the mountain. However, in the Taihang Mountains, there are still many small villages without roads, and they still need to rely on their feet to travel.

Baodu Village, Lingchuan County, Jincheng, Shanxi is located in the Taihang Mountains. Although it is not deep in the mountains, the road has not been built because of its embarrassing location. Of course, part of it is because the residents of the village are not willing to allow the road to be built. So are they living happily?

Baodu Village is located at the junction of Henan and Shanxi. Henan is under the cliff only 1,000 meters away. Although he is not a family on the cliff, he lives the life of a family on the cliff. Baodu Village is a natural village with several administrative villages under its jurisdiction. Before, because it was located at the junction and there was no road to Lingchuan County, it only took about an hour to walk to Henan to get on the road. Therefore, this small mountain village located on the edge of Lingchuan County is also located on the main traffic road. It's a very lively little village.

Later, with the rapid development of the economy, residents in the mountains began to buy houses and live in the mountains in order to make a living. Many administrative villages were gradually abandoned. Although the names are still marked on the map, they will only be found when they arrive at the scene. They have become ruins. There are fewer and fewer residents passing through Baodu Village, and the lively scene of the past is gone forever.

The head of Baodu Village told me that there were at least four households left in Baodu Village, and they all made a living by raising sheep. About 10 years ago, more and more people in China like to travel outdoors. This small mountain village hidden in the Taihang Mountains was discovered again. Many people sighed at the scenery like a paradise here, and they envy those who live here. Residents, hoping to be as carefree as they are.

The Laolongkou Waterfall, which is 1,000 meters away from Baodu Village, is a major reason why many people go to Baodu Village. Although it is a seasonal waterfall, whenever the rainy season comes, there will always be tourists from all over the country to visit and appreciate its spectacular sight. The arrival of donkeys requires food and accommodation, so Baodu Village, which is the closest to the waterfall, has become the best choice. Therefore, the villagers of Baodu Village have opened a farmhouse at home.

There are about 10 residents in Baodu Village, each of which runs a farmhouse. If you don't have too many requirements for meals, you can eat a bowl of noodles for 15 yuan at noon, and you can eat it for 40 yuan a night for a single person, and breakfast and dinner will be provided. Of course, there will also be seasonal stir-fried dishes for ALICE pals to choose from, but more ALICE pals come here not only to see the beautiful scenery, but also to eat a real goat meat.

Because of the constant visits of donkey friends, this small mountain village in the Taihang Mountains is as lively as before, but this time it is not the villagers nearby, but friends from all over the country. The villagers of other administrative villages did not receive the income brought by the donkey friends because they moved out early. The owner of the farmhouse where I live said that the annual income from raising sheep is about 100,000 yuan.

When I asked why there is no road in the village yet, he said, can there still be so many donkeys after the road is built? In contrast, the fast-paced residents living in the city, how can they not envy the villagers living here?
