For me who likes to travel, and for me who likes Jiangnan, the ancient town is definitely a place where I like to stop. In a place called Wuzhen, I saw a different scenery, experienced a different mood, and savored it carefully with longing. It is time that will never stay for anyone, but what will not disappear is the good memory you like in your heart. My friend asked me why I like Wuzhen so much. I am also very inexplicable. I may like its exquisiteness and long-standing, its uniqueness, and the boats in Wuzhen... Some people sang: Shake the Wupeng boat , with the water and the wind. This is a special scene left in memory.

This small town in Tongxiang, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province is located in the "Golden Triangle" of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, 60 kilometers away from Hangzhou and Suzhou, and 106 kilometers away from Shanghai. Wuzhen is one of the first batch of famous historical and cultural towns in China, one of the top ten charming towns in China, and has the reputation of "the last house in China". Wuzhen is a small town with a long history. In the suburbs of Wuzhen, there is the ancient cultural site of Tanjiawan. According to research, about 7,000 years ago, the ancestors of Wuzhen thrived here. In the south of the Yangtze River, Wuzhen is a typical ancient water town, known as the "Land of Fish and Rice, Home of Silk". The Sixth World Internet Conference was held in Wuzhen, which was held from October 20 to 22, 2019, and was jointly organized by the State Internet Information Office and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province.

The sky is getting darker, and the lights are gradually turning on. The night in Wuzhen, I have to say, is very beautiful and becomes more charming. Under the refraction of the lights, the light and shadow are brilliant. The whole town seems to be much quieter at once.

Wuzhen has a long postal history. The distinction between the ancient horse station and the water station has been formally established in the Yuan Dynasty. Most of the water stations are set up in Wuzhen Mirror and transported by boat. The Xishi River in Wuzhen is a tributary of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. The old post office in Wuzhen, located on the banks of the Xishi River, was opened in the Guangxu period. It must be a very sentimental place, full of a sense of age. So it's a must check in. There are many scenic spots in Wuzhen, and this old post office has the highest rate of visits, and everyone likes it very much. It was opened in the Guangxu period and has been in business until now. The important thing is that it still carries out postal mail in the ancient way.

The signboard of Wu Ma Wonton is impressive, and the most important thing is that it is still delicious.

Wuzhen has south, north, and east-west gates. At present, the north gate seems to be developing a smart town, and the south gate is a place where residents operate and live, so things are cheaper. The west gate and the east gate are the scenic spots. Here are the vicissitudes of Wuzhen for thousands of years, as well as the culture that has quietly settled down for thousands of years in Wuzhen.

It takes less than 20 minutes to take the high-speed railway from Hangzhou East to Tongxiang High-speed Railway Station, which is very convenient. Then take k281 or 282 to Wuzhen Bus Station, the time is about 1 hour. You can live in a B&B in Wuzhen. There is a B&B street in the south of Xizha, Wuzhen. B&Bs generally provide two pick-up services. When you arrive, you can contact the boss to pick you up at the bus station. It’s okay to live in Dongzha, and then go to Xizha the next day, it’s fine.

The west gate is much neater than the east gate, and the atmosphere is also very good, the scenery is really beautiful, especially when night falls, you can go shopping at night to see the night view

Wuzhen was originally bounded by the Shihe River and divided into two towns, Wuqing and Wuzhen in the west of the river, which belonged to Wucheng County, the capital of Huzhou; and Qingzhen, which belonged to Tongxiang County, Jiaxing Prefecture. After liberation, Wuzhen to the west of Shihe was placed under Tongxiang County, and it was collectively called Wuzhen.

There are many beautiful things in the south of the Yangtze River, which have been since ancient times. Tongxiang, where Wuzhen is located, is the hometown of Jack Ma. In this Internet age, Wuzhen has been pushed to the forefront of the world.

The beautiful Wuzhen lacks some modernization, and more of small bridges and flowing water, and that kind of simplicity. Looking at the flowing water on the small bridge in Wuzhen, it is as if I have seen my time like water.

Wuzhen is known as "one view, two pagodas, nine temples and thirteen temples". In Wuzhen, Buddhism was introduced earlier, and a certain scale of temple buildings appeared in the Nanliang period. In the history of Wuzhen, there were as many as 53 temples, nunneries, temples, and ancestral halls. Bailian Pagoda was originally called Jinlian Pagoda Courtyard, and later called Bailian Pagoda Temple. It was built in the Chongning period of the Northern Song Dynasty (1102-1106). It was originally located in the north of Shijingtang in Wuzhen and west of Tianjing Lane. This is because it echoes the Shousheng Pagoda in Dongzha, so there is a saying of East and West Pagodas in Wuzhen.

"There is a river outside the back door of the house. Standing at the back door, you can use a bucket to fetch water. When you dream back at midnight, you can hear the sound of sculls, drifting by." In my mind, the words written by Mr. Contradiction suddenly appeared! The bridges in Wuzhen were first built in the Southern Song Dynasty, and there are dozens of large and small bridges: Qiaoli Bridge, Jingxing Bridge, and Xianning Bridge, with different shapes and unique styles. Every bridge has its own historical story. The name of the bridge has an ancient fragrance and ancient rhyme. In this place with a history of more than 7,000 years of civilization and a history of more than 1,300 years of town building.

The most beautiful Wuzhen is Xizha at night. Sitting in a black-covered boat, accompanied by the breeze, the boatman slides the oars along the water, so leisurely. The shores on both sides are brightly lit. On the shore and on the small bridge, it is very lively, full of tourists, bustling, and the sparkling water on the water makes people fascinated. Looking at the boats passing under the small bridge, seeing the towers standing in the distance, and looking at the warm soft lights on the other side of the river, at this moment, do you feel that the mood is so happy and life is so beautiful!

Wuzhen is divided into east, west and south three gates. Let's start with Xizha. In Xizha, the blue calico is the highlight. It's a good time in an afternoon with bright skies and clean air. The indigo cloth in the dyeing room is as bright and clean as it is. The dyeing room is very old. The indigo cloth that has been dyed is hung on a high shelf. Such beauty. One of the characteristics here is the blue calico. Many accessories, clothes, shoes, bags, etc., are all accompanied by blue calico. Here, you can feel a trace of classic charm

There is a kind of ancient charm of the south of the Yangtze River on the green stone road, when you walk to the most prosperous street, there are all kinds of things, and you feel that it is no longer a tranquility, but a enthusiasm, a different kind of enthusiasm, Just like stewing soup with a slow fire, the water bubbles floated up one by one, and the water vapor rushed towards the face, but there was no restlessness, it was just hot.
