Why do people who exercise drink and smoke do more harm to the body than ordinary people?

This comparison is often heard:

"My friend often smokes, drinks, burns his head, and lacks exercise."

"I exercise regularly, smoke and drink at the same time, and my physical fitness is much better than his."

Because I exercise, my smoking and drinking are less harmful than those who don't exercise. I believe everyone has this idea.

What are the facts?

Possibly the exact opposite.

The same person, the higher the fitness level, the stronger his athletic ability, of course.

But a person's ability to exercise is very strong, not necessarily a high level of health.

Let's talk about players who have been training all year round.

If we go for a medical examination, some people will have low heart rate and high blood pressure. If you don’t believe me, you can go for a medical examination.

Most fitness enthusiasts, such as weightlifting, muscle building, and street fitness, have high blood pressure.

If you train hard, then you are actually more prone to dizziness and palpitations.

Most sports students and people who do physical exercise, such as horse racing, badminton and basketball, are prone to low heart rate.

The specific performance is that when you sleep at night, chest tightness, sleep disorders, night sweats and other problems.

And many people who don't exercise much all year round, and those who have not very high athletic ability, these situations will be less.

So exercise ability does not represent fitness level.

It should be noted here that the examples I gave are extreme examples, only heavy enthusiasts and professional enthusiasts may appear.

Everyone should pay attention to proper training.

Then the question arises, it is also drinking and smoking, people who exercise regularly are hurt more, or ordinary players are hurt more.

Let me give an example first:

When I was a year ago, smoking reached a very serious level, and two packs a day was not necessarily enough.

Then what did I kill at that time?

I probably smoke a cigarette every time I rest between sets. So in one workout, about two hours, I can smoke half a pack of cigarettes.

So in the video during that time, you can clearly see that I was breathing a lot.

On top of that, insomnia, headaches, night sweats, and palpitations were always with me.

When I came this year, I stopped smoking while training and switched to an electronic one, and it changed a little bit.

The situation mentioned above has disappeared, obviously it has disappeared, because it is a relatively timely abandonment of these bad methods.

But only in terms of cardiopulmonary capacity, it may take a little more time.

To explain the principle:

People who exercise, the lungs expand more, and the air inhaled is more abundant.

Then smoking at this time will affect each of your alveoli. So it is also a puff of smoke, and fitness players will inhale more carbon monoxide and tar.

At the same time, smoking during exercise is easy to lack oxygen, which is not good for the brain.

The same is true for drinking. The stronger the exercise ability, the higher the cardiovascular output power, and the stronger the alcohol transmission.

Here's another example. A few days ago, I was training my physical fitness until my whole body became red.

Then my friend asked me to go to a buffet. That time, my alcohol intake dropped significantly. I vomited a glass, but it was still beer.

Then kidney pain.

Later, I talked to a friend about this problem. When talking about pancreatitis, when talking about exercising and drinking alcohol, it is very easy to get this disease.

This disease basically gets it, and if it is acute, it will be over in an instant.

So how to say, fitness is a good habit, but if you have bad habits, it will actually hurt more.

If you exercise, then you should try to quit smoking and drinking. Don't think that exercise can offset the harm of smoking and drinking.

At the same time, if you can’t quit, then you should deviate from the exercise, smoking for an hour after exercising, and drinking after 24 hours of exercising.
