Heyuan City is the back garden of Guangdong Province. It is rich in water features, with streams, lakes and waterfalls all over the place. There is a scenic spot as long as the water is agile enough, there is a soul, and Heyuan City is a city full of souls. Heyuan City is located in the north-easterly position of Guangdong, and borders Jiangxi Province in the north. Because it is not coastal and is located in the upper reaches of most rivers, it has little advantage in developing shipping. Therefore, the overall economic level is average, but the environment is beautiful, and it is indeed suitable for tourism and vacation.

There is a "noble village" in Heyuan, which consists of 18 enclosures, and is praised as "the world in the painting", which is Suwei Village, in Dongyuan County. Suwei Village is not far from Heyuan City, half an hour's drive is enough. The village has a history of more than 700 years. According to records, all the people in the village are descendants of Su Dongpo, which can be called a "noble village". In the building, there is also a Yongsi Hall, which is mainly to commemorate Mr. Su Dongpo.

Su Dongpo is a native of Meishan, Sichuan. After a long migration, his descendants finally settled in Heyuan, Guangdong. Moreover, the architectural features of Suwei Village are also largely integrated with Hakka features, but they retain certain Central Plains features, especially The overall shape of the house is similar to that of the Central Plains aristocratic compound, with architectural and ornamental beauty. The whole village is composed of 18 houses with different ages, similar overall styles, and different specific designs and decorations.

Speaking of the 18 houses in the village, not all of them will be visited. The difference is not big. There are 3 must-see attractions in the village. The first one is the Yingqin Bridge. To enter the village, you need to pass this ancient bridge. From the bridge, you can see the whole view of the village. The first thing that can be found is that the house enclosures in Suwei Village are all square enclosures, not the common circular dragon enclosures, and the 18 enclosures are very closely arranged, forming a well-proportioned architectural landscape.

The second must-see attraction is the Perilla Garden. As the name suggests, the Perilla Garden is full of perilla (general herbs, which can be used as medicine). The Perilla Garden is a vegetation landscape surrounded by tall banyan trees. There are 5 ancient banyan trees in Suwei Village, all of which are more than 1,000 years old. Among them, the Mandarin Duck Banyan is the most famous. It stands on the riverside and has witnessed the rise and fall of this aristocratic village.

The third must-see attraction is the Yongsi Hall mentioned earlier. Although it is a house surrounded by buildings, the style of the official residences of Ming and Qing Dynasties is obvious. Other scenic spots are basically where you go, where you see, and the ponds around the village. The scenery is also good. The panoramic view of the village is very beautiful, like a "world in a painting", which is impressive.
