To this end, relevant experts conducted an experiment, dividing 100 steamed buns into 10 groups, one group of 10 steamed buns, the first group was placed in the refrigerator for one day, and the second group was placed in the refrigerator for two days. Three, four, five days, and so on, after comparing the 10 groups of steamed breads for freezing days, it was found that steamed breads kept in the refrigerator for more than three days would not produce aflatoxin.

However, after being heated at high temperature, the steamed buns also lost their original soft taste, because the steamed buns were stored in the refrigerator for a long time, resulting in a lot of water loss.

It can be seen that because the cold air in the refrigerator is not suitable for the growth of mold, the suitable temperature of aflatoxin is about 25~40℃, and the temperature of the freezer of the refrigerator is below 0℃, so the steamed bread is stored in the refrigerator for a long time. Aflatoxin is not produced, so this is not a cause for concern.

Which foods are easily contaminated with aflatoxins?
