'Stroke' is not without warning. The appearance of these symptoms in the body indicates the advent of cerebrovascular disease

At first glance, the "stroke" disease seems to be a disease related to being blown by the wind, but in fact stroke is a cerebrovascular disease, which is clinically called "stroke". The disease is a high incidence of cerebrovascular disease in the middle-aged and elderly, which includes two types of hemorrhagic and ischemic. Statistics show that there are as many as 2 million new stroke patients in my country every year.

Whether it is hemorrhage or ischemic stroke, it has three characteristics: acute onset, high disability rate, and high fatality rate, and stroke mortality ranks second among all high-incidence diseases in my country. Even if there is no death, the patient will leave different degrees of sequelae. According to clinical data, only less than 20% of patients with mild stroke can be basically cured, and the probability of later recurrence is also very high.

Although the onset of stroke is more rapid, it is not without warning and traces. If there are any of the following manifestations, it may be a signal from a stroke:

  1. Inexplicable drowsiness and yawning recently

In the absence of a lot of physical or mental work, and the recent sleep has been normal, abnormal sleepiness, constant yawning, etc. appear, which may be a signal from a stroke. Statistics show that 70% of stroke patients have yawning symptoms before the onset of the disease. This is because the cerebral arteries are hardened or blocked, resulting in a significant reduction in the amount of oxygen supplied to the blood, thereby stimulating the respiratory center. , causing the patient to yawn continuously. And in the case of severe cerebral hypoxia, patients will also have unexplained drowsiness and lethargy symptoms.

2, often in front of a black

Recently, there have been frequent occurrences of dark eyes and unstable standing, but the duration is not long, and the symptoms will disappear quickly within a few tens of seconds. This symptom is clinically called "transient visual loss". Due to the lack of blood oxygen supply to the brain, the normal blood supply to the retina is affected, and patients suffer from sudden vision abnormalities, and some patients also experience symptoms such as nausea and vomiting.

  1. Transient cerebral ischemia

Transient cerebral ischemia includes two types of dizziness and headache. Most of the patients have sudden onset in the morning, dizziness or severe headache. The duration is also not long, and the symptoms disappear within tens of seconds to minutes. This shows that the cerebral blood vessels have been blocked or hardened, and the brain tissue is temporarily ischemia, which causes these symptoms. If it recurs several times a day, it could be a sign of a stroke.

  1. Sudden mouth crooked eyes

If there is no incentive, if you often feel the base of the tongue, the corner of the mouth is skewed, and the language ability is weakened, especially after getting up in the morning, the symptoms are sudden, which is a major manifestation of cerebral infarction. "Facial paralysis", due to the softening or necrosis of brain tissue due to hypoxia, thus losing the control and coordination of facial nerve muscles, the patient suffers from multiple symptoms such as skewed corners of the mouth and drooling.

  1. Numbness and weakness of one limb

The brain is mainly the organ responsible for controlling the whole body's activities, sensations and consciousness, and each part of the brain controls a part of the body. Due to the necrosis or softening of the brain area that controls the nerve activity of the limbs, the nerve cannot be innervated. As a result, the patient has symptoms such as numbness in one hand and foot, unable to pick up things normally, and even hemiplegia in severe cases.

All of the above symptoms may be a sign of a stroke. Especially for patients with primary diseases, such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia or diabetes, once the above symptoms appear, they need to seek medical attention immediately. If it can be detected early and treated in time, it can not only reduce the risk of sudden death, but also have a relatively good prognosis in the later stage.
